7xxx Series Aluminum Alloys

7xxx Series Aluminum Alloys are high-strength, zinc-magnesium-copper grades (e.g., 7075, 7050) renowned for their exceptional tensile strength (450–570 MPa in T6 temper) and fatigue resistance, making them the premier choice for aerospace, defense, and high-stress structural applications. With zinc (5–8%) as the primary alloying element, complemented by magnesium and copper, these heat-treatable alloys achieve unparalleled strength-to-weight ratios (density: 2.8 g/cm³), outperforming many steels. While their corrosion resistance is moderate, Zhonglian Aluminum enhances durability through advanced surface treatments like chromate conversion coating or anodizing (per MIL-A-8625). Widely used in aircraft components, robotic arms, and high-performance automotive parts, 7xxx alloys offer excellent machinability and stress resistance under extreme conditions. Compliant with AMS and ASTM B209 standards, our profiles undergo ISO-certified QC, precision CNC machining (±0.05mm tolerance), and T6/T7 heat treatment to ensure reliability in mission-critical applications.
