1XXX series belongs to a series with the most aluminum content which reaches more than 99.00%, so it is also known as the pure aluminum plate. The last two Arabic numerals of the 1XXX series represent the minimum aluminum content of this series (for example, the last two digits of the 1050 series are 50, which means that the aluminum content must reach 99.5% or above.) Because it does not contain other technical elements, the production process is relatively simple and the price is relatively cheap, as a result, it is one of the most commonly used series in conventional industry.
Characteristic:
1, electricity and heat conduction but without any hardness;
2, used for electric heating pipe, fuel tank, gasoline or lubricating oil conduit, conductive materials, heat exchanger, chemical equipment, household products, decorative materials, case materials;
3, excellent solderability, get a good welding effect while using brazing, gas welding, arc welding, and other methods;
4, can produce bar, wire, pipe, and profile.
Application:
1050: extrusion coils for food, chemical, and brewing industries, various hoses, fireworks powder
1060: corrosion resistance and formability are required to be high, but the strength is not high, chemical equipment is its typical use
1100: for processing parts that require good formability and high corrosion resistance but do not require high strength, such as chemical products, food industry equipment and storage containers, sheet processing workpieces, deep drawn or spun concave utensils, welding parts, heat exchangers, printing plates, nameplates, reflective appliances.
Packaging:
wooden packaging. Since there is no hardness, the packaging must be made of a wooden frame, otherwise, it will concave and damage the surface.
