1. Basic properties of aluminum

High specific strength with good electrical conductivity and thermal conductivity, high reflection as well as oxidation resistance.
2. Series
Aluminum series: aluminum profile、aluminum tube、aluminum rod, etc.
Plate series: aluminum plate、aluminum foil、aluminum strip
Castings series: aluminum castings、aluminum particle

3. Common material
The first number of the material indicates the series of aluminum alloy, the second number indicates the modification of the original aluminum alloy, and the last two numbers indicate the purity of aluminum alloy in the same group.
1100:Mainly use in the processing with good formability and high corrosion resistance, but does not require high strength parts. Such as storage containers, sheet processing, deep drawn concave vessels, heat exchangers, printing plates, nameplates, reflective appliances, etc.
2011: Quick cutting alloy with good cutting ability and high strength but poor corrosion resistance, suitable for volume shafts, optical components, screw heads, screws and machined products requiring good cutting performance.
3003: with the properties of 1 series alloy but higher strength than 1 series alloy, such as kitchenware, food and chemical product processing and storage devices, tanks and tanks for transporting liquid products, as well as various pressure vessels and pipes for sheet metal processing.
4A01: High silicon content, heat resistance and wear resistance. Applying to construction materials, mechanical parts, forging materials, welding materials.
5052: The most representative alloy of medium strength (5083 is the highest), good corrosion resistance, solubility and formability, especially with high fatigue strength and good seawater resistance, mainly used in the manufacture of aircraft fuel tank, oil pipe, as well as traffic vehicles, ships sheet metal parts, instruments, street lamp support and rivets, hardware products, etc.
6061: Heat treated corrosion-resistant alloy. There is a very high endurance value but lower the strength of the dissolving interface of T6 treatment, so it is suitable for screws, ships, vehicles, land structures.
6N01: Medium strength extrusion alloy, good corrosion resistance and solubility using for large and thin meat profiles with complex shapes, for example: vehicles, land structures and ships.
6063: Typical alloy for extrusion, lower strength than 6061 but good extrusion which can be used for complex section shapes with good corrosion resistance and surface treatment, especially suitable for construction of road guardrail, vehicles, furniture, household appliances, ornaments.
7072: Low electrode potential, mainly used for anticorrosion coating material as well as heat exchanger radiator, air conditioner aluminum foil and extra thin strip material.
7075: One of the highest strength alloys in aluminum alloys but poor corrosion resistance. Compare with 7072 series, 7075 series can improve its corrosion resistance through covered skin under the higher cost. Suitable for aircraft, ski pole plate forging products.
