According to this definition, the anodization of aluminum only includes the process of forming an anodized film.
The metal or alloy parts are used as anodes to form oxide films on the surface by electrolysis. It does not corrode in ω=0.03NaCl salt spray for thousands of hours. The oxide film has a large number of micropores in the thin layer, can adsorb various lubricants, suitable for the manufacture of an engine cylinder or other wear-resistant parts; Membrane microporous adsorption capacity can be colored into a variety of beautiful colors. Non-ferrous metals or their alloys (such as aluminum, magnesium and their alloys, etc.) can be anodized. This method is widely used in machinery parts, aircraft and automobile parts, precision instruments and radio equipment, daily necessities and building decoration, etc.

The national standard generally adopts the traditional chemical analysis method to analyze the composition grade of alumina. The method is tedious according to the analysis cycle and in strict accordance with GB/T15000.1-15000.5-1994 and YS/T409-1998 standard provisions. After sample preparation, mixing, fixed value, uniformity test, normal distribution test, stability verification, production analysis, and use assessment and other complex processes, and then through the unanimous evaluation of the identification committee, the sample composition design is reasonable, in line with YZ/T272-1998 "Alumina" product standard chemical composition requirements, can be considered as national qualified products.
